No fluff – this is expert advice from a highly experienced investor, filled with insights that will save you time and money. I don’t know Mike and have never worked with him – I heard him on a podcast, bought the book, and I’m very impressed!

Exemplary introduction on the ‘why’ and ‘how’ behind real estate investing
This is a superb book tailored for Canadians but still applicable to any aspiring real estate investor or a reminder to those already investing what the principles to wealth creation are all the way to getting your property tenanted. The primary purpose is to articulate how to regain control of your financial life by focusing on real estate and what are the specific strategies, systems and tactics an investor needs to consider. This is a straightforward read without all of the real estate jargon, ‘get rich quick’ ideas, and self-promotion you often come across. I would highly suggest this book for any real estate agent, investor, or any individual curious on how to build wealth via real estate.

This book has opened my mind to the endless possibilities of realestate investing and how to actually create wealth for my future and my families future. It’s such an easy read and when you start it, it’s actually hard to put down. I recommend this book to people who are just starting out, to those who are skeptical about it all and to those that want to make a change in their life. Well done Mike, can’t wait for the next one!!

I found this book was a well thought out and practical look at real estate investment. The primary focus is Southern Ontario, but the core arguments for real estate over other types of investments would apply to any market. The author makes some pretty compelling cases for real estate as a hedge against (almost certain) post COVID inflation. Also, there are some interesting mathematical examples for real estate investment returns in comparison to historic stock market returns.

I currently own one investment property, and would consider myself as having a low to intermediate knowledge. The author discusses some investment opportunities (ie rent to own) that I had absolutely no idea about. I like that he comes across as very honest as to what has worked (and hasn’t worked) for him personally.

I think anyone interested in real estate investing would find this book beneficial, regardless of skill level. I just wish he had added a chapter on convincing your wife to invest in another property…

his was a fantastic resource to learn about the benefits of real estate investing and how it can be a vehicle to financial freedom! I’ve been investing in RealEstate for the last 7 years and was learning and researching everything on my own. This book did a fantastic job teaching me new ideas and pointed at holes in my knowledge, and also reaffirmed ideas I previously learned.

I recommend this book to anyone looking to get into RealEstate investing as Mike explains everything in a ‘simple to understand’ manner.

Will definitely keep this on my shelf to read again and freshen up on the fundamentals.

Mike does an incredible job outlining several real estate investment methods and does so in a way that makes investing feel approachable and exciting! I am in my early 30s and have always wanted to become less dependent on traditional investments such as mutual funds/GICs/etc. and this book has given me the confidence and knowledge to finally realize accomplish this. If you are from Ontario, Canada this is a MUST READ! If you aren’t from Ontario, the techniques described can still be applied to other areas across the country. Also, if you are wondering about relevancy, this book was written in the midst of the pandemic so it is very current to what the market is experiencing now and will remain relevant for years. Mike clearly has a wealth of knowledge and I truly feel like he has provided me the benefit of learning from the success he has realized in his career. Through his hard work he has realized the ins and outs, and pitfalls to avoid in real estate investing. I feel like I just read cheat codes to my financial future. Amazing work! Buy it now!!
